Well then...it's not much of a mystery to whom or what you are referring, so...

Maybe some of us spent many hours working on something that promptly got buried in purple car shit because they picked the wrong time of day to post it. So, we decide to repost it for those people who may have genuinely missed it in the hubbub. Sorry for putting effort into something and wanting it to be seen.

Maybe next time I'll just not bother in the first place.

Or maybe you could try not being an immature dick about something that caused you no harm or hindrance whatsoever.

But seriously though. I know what it's like. I feel your pain. And it wasn't directed specifically at you. I have faith that people don't actually read every article in order and will fly through the purple cars and actually look at the not purple car posts. But you know, you can go to edit your post and reschedule it for a few minutes into the future and it will bump right back to the top with all of the original comment threads in tact. And there's other clever ways to reference your post in the comments of other posts.

To be honest, I'd forgotten about the reschedule feature. It was so buggy last time I tried it that my posts just got lost in purgatory when I tried to move them up. Does it actually work now? My faith in Kinja is so little as to leave a thimble all but empty.

When I see something that is "reposting for the _____ crowd" I normally click on it. If it was good enough to take the effort to repost, it probably wasn't a purple car and required some thought.
